A wholesome way to navigate individual and collective suffering
There's a lot going on right now.
The modern world seems so heartless, so fear and greed-driven.
Coping isn't easy, and our society doesn't train us to respond with compassion, equanimity and love.
Our society wants us powerless, sterile and immobile. Our society wants us to resort to pacifying and numbing - which keeps the wheel of capitalism (and samsara) running.
My implementation of mindful principles is an
antidote to these societal evils
My goal is to deliver the principles of the dharma that
empowers and uplifts people out of their own suffering
By doing this we stop being numb and regain the wholeness of our psyche. In wholeness, we find a space to expand
inner harmony within our own being
and
social harmony with all those around us
Why pursue a spiritual solution?
This healing work derives from Vipassana-based Buddhist teachings. The teachings of the Buddha have withstood the tests of time through for millennia of humans causing havoc on the Earth.
Regardless, the principles haven't changed. Even though current events are challenging, the principles of Buddhism stand firmly and are unaffected by individual and collective greed.
What we NEED to empower ourselves is more information about consciousness itself, and a deeper understanding of how the mind works and how it perpetuates suffering.
When we learn how to do this, we free our minds to be whole and re-empower our psyche to function in the world actively and fully.
To accomplish this I offer both classes and 1:1 meetings, details listed below:

Offerings:
FREE 8-week Applied Mindfulness series. Learn the fundamentals of Buddha's message and develop a framework for understanding these principles that is directly applicable to your own challenges. Learn to meditate or deepen your existing practice. Supplemental readings and exercises create a full but gentle curriculum.
What is not offered:
A substitute for clinical mental health support, psychotherapy, or medical treatment
Direct treatment for anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, or other diagnosable conditions - this work exists entirely from spiritual principles, not from western psychology
A crisis intervention resource
1:1 mindfulness-centered counseling. An alternative to conventional psychotherapy. In my own journey, I've found spiritually-based coaching more fruitful than traditional therapies. From core Buddhist principles, we work through personal barriers, recurring troubles, and personal blocks to your own sense of contentment and fulfillment.
