Spiritual hunger requires spiritual nourishment

The Approach

The world has no shortage of suffering. This was true in the time of the Buddha and it is true today.

Society run by greed, hatred and delusion has plagued the human race for eons, and the need for personal spiritual development is salient now more than ever.

In the current atmosphere of uncertainty, many people are beginning to desire clarity - answers to the more existential problems that feel to be creeping into our periphery.

Meditation apps, breath work, and the passing thought of "hmmm, I should meditate more" now permeate our culture. The spiritual hunger is arising out of the great tragedies of the age, but few and far between are those who dig deeply into the teachings of the Buddha and search within themselves to find their own truth.

Complementary Forces: Awareness & Personal Development

The methodology I use combines two essential counterparts: The Dharma itself, and personal development.

We start by building a foundation of Buddhist principles and tools to begin the process of mindful awareness & introspection, and become familiar with what it is to sit with the mind.

Once a core practice has been established, the hard work then becomes about addressing spiritual barriers. These sticky, stubborn fragments of self are formidable long-time foes that have overstayed their welcome.

We work together in figuring out what they are, what form they take on, and what it looks like to overcome them.
